best known as "Hennie"

I am a daughter, a wife and a mother of 2, which gives me a profound understanding of the different experiences of pain and levels of discomfort, especially seeing my mother suffered badly from the extreme pain of rheumatoid arthritis for 20 years and taking in various strenghts of pain killers which caused the downfall of her health, plus my own experience of pain from coccyx fracture.

I was a client of both Emmett Technique and Bowen Therapy herself, when I fell from the office swivel chair and broke my coccyx bone in 1998.  Since the fall, I had been experiencing severe pain when walking for long distances, sitting for too long or standing for a long period of time, until being introduced to Bowen and Emmett by my husband and going through the treatment for myself in 2014.  With just 2 sessions, 16 years of pain and suffering left my body, gave me a normal pain free life.  My experience of the healing power of these modalities and with the encouragement of my therapist, paved the way for my journey in studying, learning and practicing this holistic method of drug free pain relief to help those who are in need of comfort and pain alleviation.

I had been practicing Emmett Technique Therapy and Bowen Technique Therapy since June 2015 both here in Melbourne, Australia and Manila, Philippines and had been getting a lot of positive and remarkable feedbacks from satisfied clients.​ It has changed their way of looking at pain and discomfort, it has given them "hope to live a pain free life without the use of medications...."

I am very passionate in helping people with difficulty in their movement and relieving people from their pain and discomfort, not to mention helping people creating a healthier and happier life for themselves.  And because of this as well, I endeavoured to share the EMM-TECH Short Course starting July 2016, to those who are willing to take drug free pain relief modality into their homes.
